you were drawing 'till 2:30 am??? The shading looks really good! you should try to shade like this in your portraits!

yup. and i didn't go to bed until after 4AM!

yeah i actually did some straightening out of his abs. on the reference, he's got more on his right than he does on his left, and there are spaces between the packs. So i started out doing it how it was on the reference and then about 1/4 of the way done i was like. NAHHH that's stupid. i do it better. so now they are confused. but it's not TOO bad is it?

No, not cartoony, I like the different gray-tones in it, you use mutch more gray's in this one than you do in your portraits!
